Meet the Artist & Teacher
Ann Byrne is a passionate artist and educator based in New York; a NYS certified K-12 Visual Arts and Students with Disabilities educator. Ann is dedicated to creating inclusive and impactful art experiences.

Ann has been interested in the arts her entire life - with experience in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture & ceramics, digital photography, and collage.
She attended Teachers College at Columbia University, where she obtained her Masters of Arts in Art and Art Education. Previously, she attended Gettysburg College where she studied Philosophy, Studio Art, and Spanish, and where she had the opportunity to study abroad in Salamanca, Spain and Wollongong, Australia.

Ann has experience teaching Art to students of all ages, and believes that Art is a fantastic way for people to learn how to express themselves in a new way, especially when they are not able to do so otherwise. She believes that Art teaches us fundamental ways to problem solve and communicate creatively.
